About
Attorney Yvette
My name is Yvette Feay-Cazier. I live in Los Alamos with my wife Rachel and our three children. I have been licensed to practice law since 2008 and am currently licensed in both New Mexico and Texas. I have worked in criminal law as a prosecutor and a public defender and also done international land work. Prior to becoming a lawyer, I was an engineer for 10 years and a Peace Corps Volunteer in Tanzania.
Since moving to New Mexico in late 2020, I have seen the impact that the lack of legal resources has on New Mexicans especially in northern New Mexico. The goal of my small town practice is to increase access to legal services for community members in Los Alamos, Angel Fire and the surrounding areas. My primary practice areas will be estate planning and special education. I can also assist with collaborative family law and criminal law. My past coworker called me the “social worker lawyer” and, although not a social worker, that really explains my philosophy. I am committed to working with my clients to find the best solution for their needs. If you are looking for assistance, please reach out. If I cannot help you, I will try to direct you to another attorney.
